Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal in this champions league season

The Portuguese international scored his first goal in this season's Champions League, sealing a dramatic 3-0 win for Juventus against Bayer Leverkusen in their Group D game in Turin on Tuesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo blasted in the third goal in the 89th minute to further extend his goal record to 127 strikes in the competition to add to Gonzalo Higuain and Federico Bernardeschi's earlier efforts.
Currently Juventus sit top of Group D, level on four points with Atletico Madrid, who defeated Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 in Russia.
The Italian giant and Seria A champions had been held 2-2 by Atletico Madrid  at the Wanda Metropolitano in their champions league opener.
The German club side Bayern Leverkusen face a serious task ahead after their shock 2-1 defeat at home against Lokomotiv Moscow and are currently position at the bottom of the table.
Juventus next next game will be against the Russia side  Lokomotiv Moscow and while Bayern Leverkusen travel to Atletico on October 22.
Maurizio Sarri opted for Higuain and Bernardeschi up front alongside five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo.
