Real Madrid Back To Winning Ways As they Humiliate Leganes With 5 -0

French striker Karim Benzema had scored a hat-trick as he inspired Real Madrid to a 5-0 win over bottom level Leganes in LaLiga game on Wednesday night.

Earlier last week, the re scheduled Clasico fixture between Barcelona and Real Madrid was postponed due to political tension in Catalonia. However, Madrid appeared to have a great game on their return to action as they humiliated with rock-bottom Leganes, who were unable to stop the classy Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It was a brilliant performamnce from the Frenchman who was central to a brutal Madrid start that saw them lead 2-0 within eight minutes – Benzema setting up Rodrygo Goes and Toni Kroos, before Sergio Ramos got in on the act from the spot.

Benzema finally got a well deserved goal of his own from 12 yards, taking him to seven goal for the season, and Luka Jovic finally got his first goal for the club in stoppage time as Los Blancos moved up to second – behind Barcelona – in the table.
