Saint-Etienne Appoints New Head Coach

Claude Puel have been appointed as the New manager of struggling Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne. His appointed came after Ghislain Printant was suspended as coach.
Claude Puel, who is just 58years old, was a former Southampton and Leicester city manager. He signed a new contract Saint-Etienne until 2022.
He is expected to take charge of the team before Sunday's derby against league rivals Lyon, one of his past team which he coached during his caoching career in France.
Claude Puel led Premier League side Southampton to a League Cup final and a record eight-placed finish in 2017 before being sacked that June.
He became the head coach of Leicester City in October 2017 but subsequently lost his job at the Foxes in February after less than two seasons in charge.
Currently Saint-Etienne have lost four times so far this season, a series which includes a heavy 4-1 defeat to Angers a fortnight ago.
They are currently without a single win in the Europa League with a defeat to Gent and a draw at home to Wolfsburg.
