Niko Kovac Sack As Coach Of Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat in the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon, which puts them in the  four points behind league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach.
Niko Kovac was appointed as head head coach in July 2018 and guided helped the club to a Bundesliga title last season.
So far, Bayern munich have recorded just one win from 4 league games, which apparently cost the head coach his job.
In a statement released by the chairman of the club Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “The performances of our team in recent weeks and the results have shown us that there was a need for action.
“[Club president] Uli Hoeneb, [sporting director] Hasan Salihamidzic and I had an open and serious discussion with Niko this Sunday based on that and came to the mutual decision that Niko is no longer head coach of FC Bayern.
“We all regret this development. I would like to thank Niko Kovac on behalf of FC Bayern for his work, particularly for last season’s double win.”
Presently, Hansi Flick will take charge of the team affairs while they seek a better new manager to head the club.
