Napoli shocked Inter Milan to come close on Italian Cup final


Yesterday in San Siro, the first leg tie of the Semi Final Italian cup fixtures was marred with a shock victory, which Napoli midfielder “Fabian Ruiz” scored the only goal of the day in a surprise victory against Inter Milan.
Fabian Ruiz broke through the pace just after 57 minutes to get his team Napoli back to a winning ways after their humiliating 3-2 league loss at home to lowly rated side Lecce last weekend. Fabian Ruiz picked up a Giovanni Di Lorenzo pass, maneuvering  three Inter Milan defenders to curl in past a helpless inter Milan goalie “Daniele Padelli”.
In a swift reaction, Napoli coach commends his team squad saying :"This is the real Napoli. Big compliments to my lads,".
But he however cautioned his boys: "There's no reason to smile, we still haven't achieved anything yet."
Meanwhile, Inter Milan players looked sluggish during the match , probably due to days of intense drilling following their thrilling 4-2 derby win over AC Milan which put currently place them top of the Serie A league table.
From the entire match review, the both teams had their various chances in the first half of the game with Lautaro Martínez nodding wide with Padelli denying Piotr Zielinski just before the half time break in front of a crowd of nearly 60,000 in northern Italy.
Head coach of Inter Milan “Antonio Conte” sent on Cristian Eriksen after 65 minutes and the Dane threatened but Napoli goalie “David Ospina” held firm for his team.

Mean while, record 18-time winners Juventus will away to Ac Milan in the other semi-final first leg tie on Thursday 13th Februray, again in the San siro.
Media reports all over has pin this Titan clash to be the first match clash in Italy between Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Italian Cup Final will take place in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on May 13.
