Turkish Süper Lig beIN SPORTS agree deal

According to reports, beIN SPORTS paid just under $370 million per season for the global deal. To put that into context, Apple recently wrapped up a global streaming deal with MLS for $250 million per year.

Under its previous deal, beIN SPORTS and the Turkish Football Federation‘s partnership was for five years, from 2016 through the 2021/22 season.

Expectations for the new Turkish Süper Lig season are very optimistic. In particular, that’s this year Trabzonspor won its first Turkish title since 1984. Organized by the Turkish Football Federation, the Turkish Super Lig is the top-flight division of the Turkish football league. The season typically runs from August through May.

Many of the games are shown across the exclusive rights holder beIN SPORTS both on television and/or streaming. Most of the games are on beIN SPORTS Connect. That means you may want to subscribe to a streaming service such as fuboTV, Sling World Sports or Fanatiz. Some of the streaming services offer free 7-day trials so you can take it for a test drive to see which one you like best.

“After a meeting with the CEO of beIN MEDIA GROUP, Mr. Yousef Al-Obaidly, we improved the terms of the agreement and finalized the broadcasting issue that our football fans have been eagerly waiting for,” said Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi. “I hope that our cooperation with beIN MEDIA GROUP, who started to support Turkish football with Digiturk in 2001, who is a pioneer in football broadcasting and who makes significant investments in Turkey, will continue for many years.”.
