Bayern Munich 3-1 Chelsea: Kane Double Secures Commanding Champions League Start

Harry Kane's double inspired Bayern Munich to a 3-1 victory over a competitive but ultimately outgunned Chelsea side at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

Chelsea responded instantly. Caicedo made amends by starting a brilliant counter-attack that ended with Cole Palmer finishing emphatically to make it 2-1.


Kane Kills the ComebackChelsea's hope was short-lived. Bayern controlled the second half and their pressure told when Kane read a poor back-pass from Malo Gusto, stole the ball, and slid home his tenth goal of the season to secure the three points.

The win marked a historic 100th Champions League victory for Bayern captain Manuel Neuer.
